The EVVY Awards are the largest student-run awards show in the country. In 2018 and 2019, Matt served as Paint Charge for the EVVYs. This undertaking included working with the scenic designers and producers to develop paint treatments, purchasing all necessary supplies, and overseeing the painting of the entire set for the Majestic Theater in about four days. As Paint Charge, Matt led a team of Emerson students of varying experience, and gained experience in leadership, collaboration, and problem solving.  In 2020, Matt was serving as the Paint Adviser on the 39th Annual EVVY Awards before it transitioned to a virtual setting.
